How To Give Clients Access To Multiple Products With One Purchase Automatically

If you're selling a product (or offering it for free) and you want that order to give clients access to extra products, there is an easy way to do that with product automations.

Examples:

1. You're selling a subscription Membership and want to give members access to a course you're selling separately for no extra cost.
2. You're selling a Group Program and want to give clients access to multiple e-books you're selling separately for no extra cost.
3. You want to sell a package of multiple courses for a discounted price.

How it works

Go to settings of any product (Products page -> click on a product) and look for the section called Automations.

Product automations allow you to do a few things:

• Give access to a Course
• Give access to a Digital Product
• Give access to a Membership
• Give access to a Group Program
• Subscribe a person to a Segment

In the selector pick an option, for example Give access to a Course, and then you'll be able to select which course you want to give client extra access to when they complete the order for the main product.

Things to remember

• You can add up to 5 automations to a product.
• Automations are only activated by an order. That means that if Product A has an automation to give client access to Product B, and Product B has an automation of its own to give access to Product C, ordering Product A will not activate automations that were added to Product B. If you want to give clients access to Product C when they order a Product A, you need to add it as a Product A automation.
• When clients are added to extra products via product automations, they will receive confirmation emails for each of the products in the automation and will also see these products in their Dashboard.
