Organic marketing is the process of earning traffic through the creation of valuable, relevant, and consistent content. Unlike traditional outbound marketing, which relies on interruption-based tactics such as advertising and cold-calling, organic marketing focuses on building relationships with potential clients through the creation of valuable content. And it is one of the most powerful strategies you can use to grow your business.

One of the key benefits of organic marketing is that it allows you to target specific audiences. By creating content that speaks directly to the needs and pain points of your target market, you can attract highly-qualified leads. Additionally, organic marketing provides a more cost-effective way to generate leads compared to traditional outbound marketing methods.

The key question is how to start making money with organic marketing.

How do I make money with organic marketing?

Organic marketing can be a powerful tool for generating revenue, but it's not always a straightforward path to success. Rather than investing money in paid advertising, organic marketing requires investing time instead and doing it selectively and efficiently.

However, it's important to note that many entrepreneurs and coaches struggle with organic marketing, and may even give up on their business before seeing results. Despite this, it's possible to achieve success with organic marketing, but the key is using your time strategically to create and execute a plan that will drive results for your business.

What makes organic marketing hard?

Organic marketing is a challenging endeavor for many businesses, as it requires a clear and concise message about what your business offers, how it works, and how clients will benefit from your program. However, with the right approach and understanding of the key elements, it is possible.

To succeed in organic marketing,, there are four key elements in the roadmap:

  • A solid business foundation including a clear understanding of your ideal client and the value you offer to them.
  • This foundation must be supported by a well-crafted marketing strategy that is tailored to your specific business and audience.
  • Additionally, a six-figure business strategy is crucial for scaling your business and reaching new heights of success.
  • Finally, a sales system that effectively converts leads into paying customers is essential for generating revenue and growing your business.

While many coaches and entrepreneurs understand the importance of these elements, the challenge lies in effectively implementing them in order to achieve real results. It's important to understand that each of these pillars is connected and that they must be tailored to your specific style, audience, and ideal clients. This means that it's essential to identify your blind spots and focus on what needs to be improved in order to hit the 4-figure, 5-figure or even 6-figure mark with your business. By focusing on these key elements and customizing them to your specific business, you can attract more clients and grow your business with organic marketing.

The Coaching Map

To better understanding how these pillars are connected, see the graphic representation below. You start with your Business Foundation. It incorporates 3 key parts you need to define: ideal client, offer, and goals.

Ideal Clients

Defining your ideal client is an essential step in creating a successful coaching business. Many coaches know what they do and what type of problem they solve, but they don't have a clear understanding of who their ideal client is. Keeping a close eye on your ideal client's behavior and how their problems evolve is crucial.

To create an effective marketing strategy, it's important to conduct in-depth research on your ideal client. This includes understanding their demographics such as age, location, and family status, as well as their psychographics, including their needs, desires, pain points, and objections. By clearly defining these characteristics, you'll be able to communicate your message more effectively and sell premium packages with ease.

However, if you don't define your ideal client clearly from the start, communicating with them and selling premium packages will be a struggle. It doesn't matter how good you are at selling, marketing or how solid your business strategy is, if you don't understand your ideal client, it will be like trying to sell meat to a vegan. Therefore, it's crucial to invest time in identifying your ideal client and continuously monitoring their behavior, to ensure your marketing and sales strategies are tailored to their specific needs.

High-Converting Offers

Creating high-converting offers is a crucial aspect. These offers are built on three key elements: tangible results, your unique personality, and a unique twist.

Firstly, it's crucial to clearly communicate the results that clients can expect from working with you. Prospective clients need to understand the outcome of your program as clearly as possible. In order to make a decision about working with you, they may be asking themselves questions such as: How will this work? What will I actually get from working with you? Will this work for me? Can I get results with your program? And the objection: I don't fully understand how this works. If these questions are not addressed clearly, prospects may express their uncertainty by saying "I can't afford it" or "I'll think about it" instead of articulating their concerns.

Your offer should also reflect your unique style and the type of clients you want to work with. Authenticity is crucial in selling as it connects people to the offer. It's important to differentiate yourself from other coaches by adding a unique twist to your offer. However, it's important to be mindful that making your offer too unique and difficult to understand may discourage people from approaching you.

In addition, it's important to focus on the fundamentals of your business, which requires time and attention. Many coaches skip these steps and focus solely on creating content and hitting revenue goals, however, neglecting the fundamentals can negatively impact the success of your business.

In conclusion, creating high-converting offers is a complex process that involves understanding the tangible results you can provide, incorporating your unique personality, and adding a unique twist that differentiates you from other coaches while still being clear and easy to understand for your audience.

Business Goals

Establishing clear and measurable goals for your business is a vital step in achieving success. Knowing where you want to be in the future is just as important as the journey itself. Without a clear destination in mind, it can be difficult to follow a step-by-step strategy and instead, you may find yourself starting with a strategy and hoping it will take you somewhere. This is a common mistake made by many business owners.

To avoid this, it is essential to set goals for yourself and your business right from the beginning. The concept of "beginning with the end in mind" as outlined by Stephen Covey, emphasizes the importance of having a clear vision of where you want to go. It's also important to regularly revise your goals every 3-6 months, gather feedback from the market, and analyze what needs to be optimized in your business to reach the next level.
